The End Is Here. Time For A New Beginning.

It's that time of the year again – done with the past, some minor cleaning up left to do, and no more time for anything else but reflection. And yeps, I'm reflecting, alright.

This year has been a pretty eventful one for me. Haha. Was cajoled into entertaining thoughts of a formal union... and then I said 'goodbye' and walked out and away from everything. Sent in my resignation... then retracted it. Wanted to go, begin anew at a familiar place... but ended up starting up my engines again at the same place I was at before. Wanted to leave it all behind... but ended up staying to fight the good fight instead.

Phew.

And that's just the beginning.

Haha. Are ya lost now? Okay, okay. I'll be clearer with what I'm saying. What with this being the last day of the year and all, right? Haha. Might as well be direct and to-the-point at least once in 365 days. =p

So... here goes.

*deep breath*

2008

1. Met my blog family – the DGMBians.

2. Dived deeper into the blogging social circle. (Kinda sorta considering my timetable doesn't allow a whole lot of for-fun-type socialising hours. -_-)

3. Wrote my first blog advertorial on Tinki Talks and then some.

4. Left the man I loved, whom I once thought I'd eventually find myself marrying and sharing the rest of my life with.

5. Thought I'd be packing to head over to Perth but instead, I found a lovely new place to call 'Home'.

6. Resigned from McCann Erickson, was told to reconsider my resignation, then had my resignation letter returned to me after I decided to stay.

7. Changed partners thrice after The Art Guy left – (1) The Male Ah Lian, (2) Ah Beng and currently, I'm with (3) Duh Roads.

8. Had real work submitted to The Kancils.

9. Finally got to touch other accounts and work with other Group Heads.

10. Found happiness. =)

2009

1. Save more money. (Blew most of it on the new place and I haven't yet gotten the deposit from my old place back. -_-)

2. Sleep earlier. Sleep more. (Yeah, right.)

3. Go home earlier. Spend less time at the office. (Keeping my fingers crossed for this one.)

4. Start dancing again.

5. Exercise a little every once in awhile. At least to get toned, if not to get healthy. (I know, my priorities are screwed. =p)

6. Be daring and dangerous. (Mwahahaha. Already on my way there!)

7. Drastically reduce my Jaded Quotient (JQ).

8. Learn to trust again.

9. Go back to believing in the goodness of men.

10. Re-learn loving another without holding back.

Wow. Looks like there's lots to get working on.
Oh, well. Better get started then. Toodles.

Yea, be daring and dangerous and stop being a shy girl, yeah! Girls gone wild, GGW!

But but but... what is your concept of daring & dangerous? Drinking milk whilst raving in night clubs, now that's daring & dangerous!

Now go and be wild and free in 2009, Spasm, i mean Spam.

Well, one of my top priority is not to get fired next year. I got Need to Improved for my review last year. T_T

– Haha. You don't even know me and you're assuming I'm shy girl already!!! Haha. I'm not that shy actually. =p

Hmmm. Daring and dangerous would be doing things I normally wouldn't do. Like... tell people off. Things like that. Not psycho-drive-through-red-lights kinda stuff. Haha.

– Ouch. That's gotta be tough. All the best then.
